Keep Your Customers Longer

Do you know the Bounce Rate for your website? If not, you are missing a critical piece of information! The Bounce Rate by definition is the ratio of Single Page visits divided by Total Website Sessions.

  • Bounce Rate = Single Page Visits / Total Website Sessions

This formula generate a percentage and is our job to analyze it. The higher the % – the greater your loss of visitors. The lower the % – the higher Click Through Rate (CTR) of your web page.

To simplify this equation, you want your Bounce Rate to be as low as possible. Lower Bounce Rates translates into more pages visited by each user. That means people are sticking around to see more of what you have to offer. The longer viewers stay on your web page the higher the chance they will contact you and convert into a paying customer.

Google is not a secret entity that you need expensive web services to crack. They tell you exactly how your website is performing. This is a screen shot of my Google Analytics Dashboard for Dallas Web Guy. A Bounce Rate of 25% means that most website visitors are sticking around to read more than one web page. This equals a higher conversion rate (sales).

You Become the Expert

The internet is a massive hub of information that is difficult to navigate when looking for something specific. Your customers are constantly browsing the web to obtain information to make an educated buying decision. It’s one of the curses of free and easily accessible information.

As a consumer, we are able to spend quality time reading up on our buying decisions before we ever make them. As a business we have less of an opportunity to interact with our customers before we even get the first phone call.

The scary truth and simple reality is this: your website is now your primary marketing strategy! If your website is lacking in: appearance, readability, pictures, insightful information you could be in trouble. One the flip side, if you are constantly creating valuable information for your visitors then you stand a much greater chance of converting more browsers into customers. After all, 20% of your efforts will outpace 80% of the competition.

Garnering your clients trust - you become the leader of the business meeting and this will translate into sales dollars. In today's highly competitive environment, capturing market share is more complicated than ever. Let's peel away those cloudy layers of confusion, simply your marketing strategy and capture more sales!

Your Audience Trusts You

Spending money is a scary concept for many people. We all have a limited amount of time & money so where we spend them matters a lot to every consumer. This is therefore they key to our marketing strategy: educating your customers that you are the expert and the go-to guy for their purchasing needs.

I constantly find that business owners are such amazing banks of information and expertise. They often times love talking about what they do and how they do it. However, the years of experience and massive portfolio they accumulate often does not transition to their marketing strategies. At this point, it’s easy for business owners to become frustrated by the lack of sales despite their knowledge and expertise.

What we need to realize is the internet is getting younger. As the millennial generation grows older and acquires more wealth, they are becoming the primary consumers. Millenials love their iPhones and use these vehicles to research everything. We, therefore, need to adapt to this changing marketplace and become the experts that they find online.

Capturing your customer trust you will see your Bounce Rate decrease. A lower bounce rate means more pages visited and more trust obtained from your customers.

People Are More Likely to Return to Your Page

Have you ever read something insightful and returned later on to see if there was something else you could read from your favorite industry experts? We’ve all been there. When studying a new field that we are unfamiliar with – we look to the experts to educate us and give us the knowledge we need.

Consumers do the exact same thing. When you provide them with fresh, relate able reading material on a regular basis they will be more likely to return. If your material relates to expert level service and trade they are more likely to return with their wallets prepared to buy from the experts that they trust.

Let’s become those experts and boost your conversion rate. After all, content writing and websites are the cheapest marketing source for the past two decades. Don’t believe me? Investigate in how expensive yellow page ads, newspaper ads and radio advertisement has become. You will be shocked by the numbers and lack of market penetration.

Your website is always online and seconds away from the hands of every consumer. Let’s focus our efforts there!

Higher Probability of Capturing the Sale

Lastly, and you knew where I was going with this: websites with valuable information have a higher percentage of capturing the sale. The formula is simple:

  1. Buyers seek information regarding needs
  2. Vendors (you) supply information online to educate them on their services
  3. Buyers gain information & research thoroughly (some less than others)
  4. Buying makes a purchasing decision

As you can see – we all have less time than ever to make the proper impact on our customers. You will primarily get a phone call only from someone who has studied your website and decided that you are an expert they can trust and are willing to give you a shot.

At Dallas Web Guy – my job is to help you get the shot you deserve. Let’s focus our efforts on transforming your marketing strategy to work in your favor. You will be amazed at the simplicity of our strategy and grateful for the investment. After all – should you get a Return on your Investment? You’ll be impressed by your ROI with Dallas Web Guy.
